Robert Dover and Alizee Froment
Dressage at the Intersection of Sport and Art
October 31 & November 1, 2026
A Masterclass Like No Other, Presented by the San Francisco Peninsula Chapter of the California Dressage Society, at the Horse Park at Woodside, California.
Discover how the psychological, physical, and emotional ways that horses think and react naturally support dressage training and performance, so that love and care create the foundation for training every horse to become their very best.
Emphasizing that DRESSAGE IS DEFINED AS TRAINING, six-time Olympian Robert Dover and international liberty trainer Alizée Froment combine decades of experience to demonstrate how the intersection of the sport and the art of dressage is essential to its future.
Robert Dover is a six-time Olympian and four-time Olympic medalist, former coach of both the US and Canadian teams, and has trained more than 100 horses and riders to Grand Prix. It’s been said that nobody has ever been bored at any of his clinics or symposiums, and his commitment to equestrian education is second to none.
Alizée Froment is an international Grand Prix rider and trainer, a renowned expert in training at liberty, a master rider at Grand Prix without a bridle, and a star presenter at many equine extravaganzas. Her audiences on social media and her live performances are living proof of her connection with the hearts of horses and the people who love them.

Call for riders: Robert and Alizée welcome all breeds and ages of horses, at all levels of dressage training. Because of the nature of demonstrations in front of a large audience, it is best for riders to be experienced in riding their horse in front of large audiences, and capable of remaining calm and attentive despite microphone squawks which inevitably occur, audience clapping, and distracting movement and sounds outside the arena.
